    Molded by the Master’s Hands
With Christmas just a few days behind us, Pastor Stephen shared a message that looks forward to the new beginnings we have in Christ.  He used the Old Testament story of Jeremiah taking a field trip to the potter's house where he would be given a message to share with the Israelites.  Just as clay is molded, made, and re-shaped in the hands of a skilled potter when the original creation has become marred...so are we.  Look forward to 2016 pleding to remain in the hands of the Potter.

    A Carpenter’s First Christmas
His emotions were raw, the pain real, the setting meek, the story unbelievable...until an angel of the Lord appeared to him and helped this young carpenter realize that his plans and God's plans were not the same.  Listen to today's Christmas message from the vantage point of a young, righteous man who received some strange news, before having a wild dream that he would be given the honor of giving Jesus His name.
Listen to the story of Joseph and come explore this account in a fresh new way, because we are all called to faithfully serve our king and love one another.  May our Lord richly bless you this holy-day season.

    Journeying for Joy
At this time of year, Nativity sets all across this country will adorn coffee tables and be lit up in front yards as signs of the season.  The image of baby Jesus is generally accompanied by Mary and Joseph, along with an ox, a donkey, some shepherds, and an angel with some wise men in tow.  While these are all characters of the Christmas story, the wise men being placed in the manger is not a historically accurate one.
Pastor Stephen shares a message about the journey of the Magi, and why this is the most important journey in the world.  They sat out on a journey to find joy, and joy came in the form of a Child named Jesus.  Listen to today's message, and commit yourself to seeking the Savior this holiday season.

    A Lesson in Love
Pastor Stephen shares a lesson in love from 1 Corinthians 13 on what love is and what it's not--what it does and what it does not do.  When we further explore the type of love the Apostle Paul is referring to in this text, we see that AGAPE love has far more to do with the one sharing this kind of love than the one being shown it.  Listen to today's sermon, and challenge yourself to take the "love test" to see how the love you show your spouse measures up against this Biblical definition of love.  Let these words of rebuke challenge you to love others like Jesus loved us.

    Once Upon a Time…
Pastor Stephen kicks off a new sermon series today entitled, "Heaven, Help this House of Mine!"  In today's message, he shares God's orginial intent and design for marriage in the beginning.  He takes us on a journey back to Paradise to a time when God laid the foundations of the world and the foundation of a Biblical marriage.
While the words "Once upon a time," are often how fairy tales begin, marriage in the real world can play out more like horror stories than fairy tales when God is not in the middle of the marriage.  Listen to today's sermon, lift your marriage and your spouse up to the Lord in prayer, and choose to LOVE the way God intended.  May the story of your life together be a story of happily ever afters in Christ.

Lost and Found: A Veteran’s Day Tribute
Pastor Stephen pays tribute to all of the brave men and women who have served and are currently serving our nation as he tells an all too familiar story of duty, honor, courage, and sacrifice.  Listen in as he tells a story in narrative format of One who already came to fight the battle for the cause of freedom.  He tells the story of Jesus, who laid down his life and spilt his blood as he carried out his Father's mission.

    A Church of One
This morning we launched our Fall and Winter ministries at RiverWind as Pastor Stephen delivered a message on A Church of One--meaning one fellowship of believers united in heart, mind, and Spirit.  He further delves into the Book of Acts linking chapter two with chapter four as we strive for complete unity in Christ Jesus.
Listen to today's sermon, and apply the lessons you learn to your lives.  Together, we lack nothing as a body of believers.
