    Intentional Interactions
As we gathered for Father's Day this morning, Pastor Stephen shared a message on what dads are to do and not do when raising their children.  In his letter to the church in Ephesus, Paul outlined the expectations of a relationship between a husband and a wife in chapter five before turning his attention from marriage to the baby carriage as he painted a bullseye on the backs of disciplemaking dads.  Listen to today's message as we unpack a word of caution and look at the commands issued to disciplemaking dads who are to bring their children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

    The God who Loves Us
Pastor Caleb Clark shares a message about the God who loves us and has complete sovereignty over life and death as he told the story of Jesus responding to the news that his friend, Lazarus was gravely ill.  We see in this week's message the eternal truth of Scripture that God so loved the world, and He gave his Word to us that for those who believe...our lives shall not end in a spiritual death because of Jesus' promise fulfilled at Calvary.  We don't have to appeal to Jesus to love us based on the things we do, but we can rest that Jesus already loves us for who we are.  Jesus loves bad people; and we are all bad people in need of a good Savior.

Will You Turn and Go…or Just Say So?
Lip service.  We all know what it means; perhaps we've even been guilty of giving it to someone a time or two ourselves?  Are we more concerned about the impressions we give than the lives we lead?  In today's sermon, Pastor Stephen uses the Parable of the Two Sons to challenge RWC members to examine their lives and evaluate if their walk is lining up with their talk.  In this powerful passage, he explores the response of the two sons that Jesus laid out before the Pharisees who were challenging his authority, and He asked them to identify which son "DID" the will of the Father.  Listen to today's sermon and see for yourself which character you are in this passage, and then consider the characteristics of the Father as you apply the lessons to your life as you grow in Godliness.

    Heart of Worship
Pastor Stephen shares from Psalm 95 to guide the church in what worship is all about.  In this Psalm, we can see that rejoicing should be both an expression of our joy in the Lord and a reverent outpouring from grateful hearts.  Worship should always lead us into deeper obedience because worship without obedience is worthless to God.  The lives we lead should serve as the greatest praise hymn offered to our Lord.

    Molded by the Master’s Hands
With Christmas just a few days behind us, Pastor Stephen shared a message that looks forward to the new beginnings we have in Christ.  He used the Old Testament story of Jeremiah taking a field trip to the potter's house where he would be given a message to share with the Israelites.  Just as clay is molded, made, and re-shaped in the hands of a skilled potter when the original creation has become are we.  Look forward to 2016 pleding to remain in the hands of the Potter.
    Key Verses:  Jeremiah 18:1-6
