    Sowing Division (Galatians 4:1-20)
    Series: GALATIANS
We get a vivid look at the heart of Paul for his spiritual children in Galatia. It is as if he is watching his only child walk away from the peace and security of home, into a lie that will lead to their certain demise.  This plea illustrates how we should be caring for our brothers and sisters in Christ.  We should be actively involved in both being discipled, and discipling others.  Our hearts should earnestly seek to love and care for one another.

    Faith’s Rebuke (Galatians 2:11-21)
    Series: GALATIANS
Having been made aware of the foolishness of trying to save himself through the law, Paul is zealous for the Church to rely on the finished work of Christ; not that of man.  He even finds himself in a position in which he must publicly confront Peter for his hypocrisy. As Christians, we are often placed in positions in which, for the sake of the clear gospel, we must refute error.  How equipped are we to do this?  De we recognize error when we see it?  Are we bold enough to stand up for it?

Paul begins his letter to the churches in Galatia out of dire need.  Serious error has crept into the church and is leading the people astray.  There is only one Gospel that can save. It is an exclusive Gospel and Christ, not man, is the foundation.  When we seek a gospel that places authority in man’s hands we are headed for disaster.  Do we see this in the church today?  Where are the dangers in our own lives, when we are more concerned about pleasing men than God?  Do we believe that there is one Gospel, but act as if there are other things that save?
